ACCOUNT MANAGER
Description
Flying Cork Media, a growing strategic marketing communications firm, is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of a full-time Account Manager. This position will be responsible for managing clients’ campaigns, ensuring all initiatives are strategically and creatively aligned to the clients’ needs, while being delivered on time and on a budget.
Responsibilities
- Serve as project lead to provide support/suggestions and offer solutions to client needs and challenges
- Work on client reports, memos and presentations for review and submission by project lead
- Assist with the execution of marketing communications tactics including copy writing, editing, creative input, research and planning
- Provide support to Business Development staff by offering ideas and feedback on the development of proposals and RFP responses
- Develop project timelines and budgets
- Proactively contribute ideas and solutions to client projects
- Work with project team to help effectively execute client projects on time, on budget, and exceeding client expectations
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or public relations is preferred.
- 3-5 years of account planning/strategic planning experience in an advertising agency environment (desired)
- Extremely detailed oriented, with the ability to manage many tasks at once and drive process and organization
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, reasoning, and organizational skills
- Ability to work proactively and independently
- Experienced social media and digital advertising
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Power Point with the ability to learn new computer skills quickly
