ACCOUNT COORDINATOR

Description

Flying Cork Media, a growing strategic marketing communications firm, is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of a full-time Account Coordinator. This entry-level position will assist in managing clients’ campaigns, ensuring all initiatives are strategically and creatively aligned to the clients’ needs, while being delivered on time and on budget.

Responsibilities

  • Work with project lead to provide support/suggestions and offer solutions to client needs and challenges
  • Work on client reports, memos and presentations for review and submission by project lead
  • Assist with the execution of marketing communications tactics including copy writing, editing, creative input, research and planning
  • Provide support to Business Development staff by offering ideas and feedback on the development of proposals and RFP responses
  • Develop project timelines and budgets with oversight from project manage
  • Proactively contribute ideas and solutions to client projects
  • Work with project team to help effectively execute client projects on time, on budget, and exceeding client expectations

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or public relations is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of account planning/strategic planning experience in an advertising agency environment (desired)
  • Extremely detailed oriented, with the ability to manage many tasks at once and drive process and organization
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, reasoning, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work proactively and independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Power Point with the ability to learn new computer skills quickly
